Growing in Fellowship
Oakwood Outdoor centre has been a hugely popular destination for residentials for over 20 years is able to cater for large groups. At Oakwood we offer excellent residential facilities in the form of en-suite indoor accommodation, Adventure Tents, separate family/leaders accommodation block and onsite camping. In the past we have welcomed churches, organisations and schools from across the country and abroad.
The recently refurbished residential accommodation can house up to 68 in the winter and 100 people in the summer. With additional rooms for leaders and families for up to 8 people.
For our larger groups we are able to offer our brand new Adventure Tents in the summer months. These amazing tents will give you a feeling of being out in the wilds with all the comfort of cosy camping. The Adventure Tents are set around a central space so excellent for church and youth groups.
These tents sleep 32 people and are practically styled with raised beds, comfy mattresses, a seating area, lighting and power sockets. The Adventure Tents also have their own patio area as well as a toilet and shower block nearby.

Minimum group booking size of 35 people. Bedding can be hired at £6 per person for the stay

Booking a residential at Oakwood will include:
- Sole use of the residential buildings
- Use of the accommodation for 60 people in 10 ensuite rooms. Additional rooms/camping rates available on request
- New purpose build BBQ area
- Large well equipped commercial grade kitchen
- Dining room
- Lounge area with leather chairs, oak tables, table tennis and table football
- Octagon meeting room with ceiling mounted projectors and in ceiling speaker system
- Flood lit football field
- Basketball cage
- Purpose build campfire area with pallet wood provided
- Outdoor performance area complete with lighting and sound system
- All outside spaces can be lit at night and the fields may be used for wide games.
